Position Overview
The Program / Project Management Specialist will support the planning execution and delivery of complex projects across assigned workstreams. This role works closely with our clients multiple Hospital sytem departments City agencies external vendors and community partners to ensure timely high-quality project implementation. The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and able to work independently while leading change within a collaborative cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Support all phases of the project lifecycle for assigned workstreams including planning scope definition design execution monitoring and delivery.

Develop maintain and utilize project management templates tools and dashboards to track progress milestones deliverables and performance metrics.

Facilitate the collection analysis and dissemination of project information and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
-
Monitor project timelines and deliverables; proactively identify escalate and help mitigate risks issues and dependencies.

Serve as a primary point of contact for various Hospital departments City agencies and contracted vendors.

Assist in planning coordinating and conducting trainings including the development of training materials and documentation.

Provide on-site support related to project implementation coordination and oversight as needed.

Provide policy operational guidance and strategic support to improve service delivery within assigned workstreams.

Assist with invoice review and approval processes and provide recommendations related to budget tracking and planning.

Ability to work reliably and independently while contributing as a leader within a collaborative team environment.

Strong ability to develop and maintain cooperative effective working relationships with diverse individuals groups and organizations.

Excellent written verbal and presentation skills with the ability to tailor technical and operational information for varied audiences (e.g. administrative leaders technical teams front-line staff).

High level of accuracy transparency and accountability in all work products.

Keen attention to detail flexibility strong organizational skills and an enthusiastic solutions-oriented work ethic.
Required and Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of program and/or project management experience.

Bachelors degree required.

Experience managing multiple external contractors and vendors strongly preferred.

Experience working with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

NYC Department of Education (DOE)
-
Administration for Childrens Services (ACS)
-
Other educational or child- and family-focused programs
-
Experience working with educators administrators case management staff parents and/or children.

Experience with community engagement initiatives and/or community service providers or nonprofit organizations.

Fluency in languages other than English particularly Spanish is a plus.
-
NYC area residency required.
Work Environment
This role requires a high degree of collaboration with internal teams external agencies and community partners. Occasional on-site support and engagement may be required to support project implementation and oversight.
