Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are Hiring Senior Medical/Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapist for our Hospital client in Dublin.

Job type: Permanent / Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced assessment diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute and chronic cardiorespiratory and medical conditions.

  • Lead and manage complex caseloads demonstrating high-level clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.

  • Deliver respiratory care including airway clearance techniques ventilatory support oxygen therapy and early mobilisation.

  • Act as a clinical leader within the physiotherapy team supporting junior staff students and assistants through supervision and mentorship.

  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) planning discharge planning and goal setting to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Participate in service development audit quality improvement initiatives and implementation of best practice guidelines.

  • Manage clinical risk and ensure compliance with infection prevention health and safety and professional standards.

  • Support education and training programmes for staff and students within the clinical area.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures in line with hospital policy.

  • Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) research and innovation in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy practice.





  • Requirements

  • Hold a BSc in Physiotherapy or an equivalent recognised qualification.

  • Be registered with CORU or in the process of obtaining CORU registration.

  • Be a member of or eligible for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).

  • Have a minimum of three years satisfactory post-qualification clinical experience including experience with an acute general medical and cardiorespiratory patient population.

  • Possess at least one year of post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.

  • Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and the ability to apply evidence-based practice in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of the role.

  • Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care.

  • Collaborate with the Physiotherapy Manager to support the coordination development and delivery of a high-quality patient-centred physiotherapy service.

  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals patients families and carers.

  • Show a clear commitment to ongoing continuing professional development.

  • Maintain and adhere to guidelines and protocols relevant to the hospital Physiotherapy Service.
