We are Hiring Senior Medical/Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapist for our Hospital client in Dublin.
Job type: Permanent / Full-time
Responsibilities
Provide advanced assessment diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute and chronic cardiorespiratory and medical conditions.
Lead and manage complex caseloads demonstrating high-level clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
Deliver respiratory care including airway clearance techniques ventilatory support oxygen therapy and early mobilisation.
Act as a clinical leader within the physiotherapy team supporting junior staff students and assistants through supervision and mentorship.
Contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) planning discharge planning and goal setting to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in service development audit quality improvement initiatives and implementation of best practice guidelines.
Manage clinical risk and ensure compliance with infection prevention health and safety and professional standards.
Support education and training programmes for staff and students within the clinical area.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures in line with hospital policy.
Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) research and innovation in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy practice.
Requirements
Hold a BSc in Physiotherapy or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Be registered with CORU or in the process of obtaining CORU registration.
Be a member of or eligible for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).
Have a minimum of three years satisfactory post-qualification clinical experience including experience with an acute general medical and cardiorespiratory patient population.
Possess at least one year of post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.
Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and the ability to apply evidence-based practice in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of the role.
Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care.
Collaborate with the Physiotherapy Manager to support the coordination development and delivery of a high-quality patient-centred physiotherapy service.
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals patients families and carers.
Show a clear commitment to ongoing continuing professional development.
Maintain and adhere to guidelines and protocols relevant to the hospital Physiotherapy Service.
