Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care services.

We are currently recruiting a Senior Cardiac Physiologist Echocardiography for a hospital in Cork Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Manage own clinical workload efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care

  • Provide support and supervision to staff in line with departmental requirements

  • Deliver mentorship and clinical guidance to junior staff with active involvement in training and professional development

  • Provide clinical leadership in echocardiography and non-invasive cardiac testing ensuring services are delivered in accordance with departmental policies procedures and internationally recognised guidelines



Requirements

  • Hold a BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology (TU Dublin) or an equivalent qualification or a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology (TU Dublin) or equivalent

  • Hold current BSE (British Society of Echocardiography) and/or EACVI (European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging) accreditation

  • Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in echocardiography and/or cardiac catheterisation

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on patient-centred care

  • Willingness and flexibility to work shift patterns and flexible hours as required

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
