We are currently recruiting a Senior Cardiac Physiologist Echocardiography for a hospital in Cork Ireland.
Responsibilities
Manage own clinical workload efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care
Provide support and supervision to staff in line with departmental requirements
Deliver mentorship and clinical guidance to junior staff with active involvement in training and professional development
Provide clinical leadership in echocardiography and non-invasive cardiac testing ensuring services are delivered in accordance with departmental policies procedures and internationally recognised guidelines
Requirements
Hold a BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology (TU Dublin) or an equivalent qualification or a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology (TU Dublin) or equivalent
Hold current BSE (British Society of Echocardiography) and/or EACVI (European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging) accreditation
Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in echocardiography and/or cardiac catheterisation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on patient-centred care
Willingness and flexibility to work shift patterns and flexible hours as required
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
