A 10-month research assistant position at 40% is available atthe Department of Molecular Cell Biology Institute for Cancer Research Oslo University Hospital. The position is part of the Extracellular vesicles and Prostate Cancer project group ( University Hospital is a workplace with great diversity. Brief description of the project

The objective of the project is to investigate the role of extracellular vesicles in cancer and their potential role as biomarkers and nanocarriers of cancer drugs.

Project activities:

  • Analysis of omics data
  • Analysis of microscopy images
  • Bioinformatics and biostatistics analysis
  • Figure design and result presentation

Qualifications

  • Master in bioinformatics statistics datascience or other related areas
  • Experience in statistics phyton and bioinformatic analysis
  • Experience in analysis of omics data particularly proteomics with Perseus and R
  • Ability to work in an accurate responsible and structured way
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
  • High motivation and efficiency
  • Solution-oriented and flexible
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English.
