Who are we looking for
Were seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Darwin-based Senior Structural Engineer to deliver impactful projects across Northern Australia and beyond. As a member of our Buildings Services team you will work on a variety of projects in the public and private sectors across an extensive regional client portfolio.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you:
- Designing reinforced concrete steel timber pre-cast concrete and masonry structures (incl. buildings bridges sewage treatment plants and schools to name a few).
- Working on small to medium-scale commercial residential and industrial projects including civil infrastructure projects.
- Mentoring and inspiring junior engineers helping shape the next generation of technical leaders.
- Providing technical leadership and client liaison acting as a trusted advisor and preparing proposals reports and cost estimates.
- Cultivating strong client relationships by facilitating meetings conducting site visits and leading collaborative discussions to ensure project alignment and success.
- Collaborating with passionate colleagues and clients to deliver sustainable future-ready solutions.
What you will bring to the team:
- 7 years experience as a Structural Engineer in the Building Services environment ideally from a consultancy background. Experience working on defence projects would be highly regarded.
- Engineering Degree (Structural).
- Hold accreditation as a structural engineer in the Northern Territory or be able to obtain accreditation if successful.
- Demonstrate a proactive client-centric approach actively contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Exhibit robust project management capabilities confidently serving as the technical lead across diverse projects.
- Good understanding of relevant codes standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong desire to mentor others and the experience required to offer technical leadership.
