Job Summary
As a Senior Stormwater Engineeryoullplay apartin shaping sustainable and innovative water solutions alongside our talented team of civil engineers modellers digital designers and project managers in one of our New Zealand offices.
Our projects span stormwater reticulationlow impacturban design and land and transport infrastructureboth locally and across New Zealand and Australia. With increasing demand in major roading and transport projectswerelooking for someone who brings a holistic understanding of hydrology and stormwater drainage. Experience in these large-scale infrastructure projects along with skills inlow impactstormwater design and hydraulic modelling will be highly valued.
Whatsthe mahi
Participate instormwater projectsfrom master planning to detailed design and construction.
Collaborateacross disciplines to align with client goals regulations and best practice.
Be accountable forbudgets timelines and resources to deliver quality outcomes.
Embrace digital toolsto drive innovation and efficiency.
Stay up to date withindustry trends and technologies.
Helpsolve complex challengesin land development transport and flood management.
What can you bring to the team
8years experience(within a consultancy) with a degree in Civil Environmental or Natural Resources Engineering. A professional accreditation is desirable.
Stormwater design experienceand knowledge of modelling and GIS software.
Knowledge of 12d Water Network Editor Civil 3D Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA) Hec-Ras TuFlowInfoWorksICM or other hydraulic modelling suite
Knowledge of Civil 3D or 12d
Strongunderstanding of New Zealands regulatory environment including the Resource Management Act and Building Code
