The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley Missouri.
The Program Manager leads all aspects of the Direct Commercial Sale F-15 Singapore Mandated Upgrade Program. The Mandated Upgrade program provides a unique opportunity to support the Singapore F-15 customer through integration of Link-16 Datalink and Secure Voice Radio for their domestic F-15 fleet. This program provides an opportunity to oversee a very wide breadth of program activities including engineering development ESIL test Ground and Flight Test in St Louis Aircraft Modifications in St Louis and aircraft delivery to an international DCS customer.
The program manager will also have the responsibility for leading the program through the Enterprise Standard Gated Process ensuring adherence to program management best practices (PMBP) managing the programs earned value management baseline and the financials for the program.
This opportunity provides a very wide breadth of experiences including international customer engagement engineering test and St Louis production.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads development of the program architecture and top level plans for a program
- Develops program organizational work structures top level program and execution plans
- Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities teams suppliers partners and customers
- Facilitates the resolution of program issues
- Supports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics
- Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices
- Implements customer and program communication and contact plans
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 5 years of experience in program or project management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- More than 5 years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- More than 5 years of experience working directly with executives or senior leaders leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- More than 5 years of experience in Program Management or IPT Leadership including cost schedule and technical management
- More than 5 years of experience in implementation of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Lean/10X
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD9 years related work experience Master12 years related work experience 18 years related work experience etc.)
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.
