The Opportunity
An opportunity is open to a suitable applicantto conduct a fully funded full-time PhD within the GPCR EcoPharmacology Lab Monash
Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) Monash University. The successful applicantwill generate high-impact research by applying state-of-the-art deep learning molecularmodelling and GPCR pharmacology to accelerate drug discovery for dementia treatment in
postmenopausal women. The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team comprisingexperts in GPCR biology computational pharmacology artificial intelligence andneurovascular in vivo models.
The applicant will have access to a unique research environment at MIPS one of theworlds leading centres in GPCR drug discovery along with cutting-edge computationalresources AI platforms and established collaborations in cardiovascular and neurovascular
disease.
The successful applicant will be enrolled at Monash University and spend the majority of thetime at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences under the supervision of Dr Anh TNNguyen ARC DECRA Fellow Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Project Title: Deep learning approaches to G protein-coupledestrogen receptor (GPER) targeted drugdiscovery.
