The Team:
The S&P Data and Content Fundamentals team delivers high-quality Fundamentals data and industry information to clients enabling informed decisions. The team collects financial data from various sources using in-house tools press releases company websites stock exchange websites and regulatory filings ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This role offers an opportunity to understand industry dynamics and apply your finance knowledge contributing to client trust and professional growth.
The Impact:
This role drives key initiatives within the Fundamentals content space and works closely with Data Management Data Quality Data Transformation and Technology teams supporting and partnering with them on strategic initiatives. Youll collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive key projects while conducting critical analysis to support collection teams and course-correct where required. As part of the operations leadership youll influence culture engagement and career development of all team members.

Responsibilities:
- Apply broad knowledge of operations principles and business drivers to impact business results while translating organizational strategy into department goals
- Serve as a trusted partner for key stakeholders in data transformation and technology organizations
- Act as change agent contributing towards continuous transformation journey anticipating complexity and overcoming resistance to change
- Draw intelligence and recommend key areas for process efficiency improvement and control
- Establish process stability and control checks to preempt risks and mitigate before they impact customers
- Lead talent management initiatives including skill augmentation within existing teams and identifying external talent aligned with technology trends
- Drive accountability for employee development engagement and performance management
- Develop and implement dataset level skill development strategy and execution plans
- Work on big ticket technology projects while managing initiatives of varied complexity simultaneously
What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Full time MBA or bachelors degree from a recognized university
- 14-16 years of work experience including transformational project management and managing teams
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a manager of managers
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead initiatives of varied complexity simultaneously
- Proven track record of working in cross-cultural environments
- Well organized pro-active solution-oriented individual with getting things done mindset
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- LEAN Six Sigma Certification or Project Management certification
- Excellent client and market knowledge with ability to contribute to continued content development
- Experience working on technology transformation projects
- Demonstrated ability to simplify communication with variety of stakeholders
