The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of large-scale high-rise residential developments. Reporting to the Project Manager you will play a critical role in uniting site teams managing subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely on time within budget and to Landmarks quality standards.
This role is suited to a strong leader with proven experience delivering Class 2 residential projects valued $50M$100M ideally within a developer-builder environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all site operations including programming sequencing and daily coordination
- Coordinate subcontractors suppliers and site logistics
- Work closely with the Project Manager to manage the construction program and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation company policies and site safety standards
- Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship
- Build strong respectful relationships with site teams consultants clients and stakeholders
- Monitor progress manage risks and implement corrective actions where required
- Mentor and support site staff including foremen and supervisors
- Ensure site documentation is accurate current and compliant.
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager delivering high-rise residential projects from start to finish
- Experience working for a developer-builder is highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of construction methods sequencing and site management practices
- Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to manage and motivate large site teams
- Sound understanding of WHS legislation and best-practice site safety
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management Engineering or a related field (preferred)
