Job Summary

Funded through FY2026 Perkins the After School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program Coordinator will develop run and oversee a 4-week career explore program for middle school students. Major Responsibilities:
  • Plan advertise and oversee Minutemans 4-week Career Explore program.
  • Create and manage a registration system for Minutemans 4-week Career Explore program.
  • Promote Minuteman as a future high school option for all middle school students by offering activities and presentations for students to learn more about Minuteman.
  • Assist instructors in creating engaging hands-on activities to expose students to Minutemans career fields.
  • Supervise middle school students during all transition times with safety as the number one priority.
  • Serve as the liaison between families and the career explore program.
  • Assist in onboarding and provide a training meeting for all student assistants.
  • Lead an introductory staff meeting for all After School CTE instructors.
  • Ensure successful transportation for students to and from their middle schools.
  • Work with the admissions office and Director of Career and Technical Education to promote the program.
  • Other duties assigned by the Director of Career and Technical Education.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced in developing and providing programs for students.
  • Self-motivated; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing in person through email and on the telephone.
Terms of Employment:Hours will vary and includes but is not limited to:
  • Planning advertising promotion organizing and supporting the Career Explore Program.
  • Staff planning meeting on Monday February 23rd.
  • Be present from 3:30pm to 6:15pm on March 19 March 26 April 2 and April 9th with a snow date of Thursday April 16th if needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the CTE Director and/or Principal.
Effective Date of Employment:
  • Immediately.

  • Director of Career and Technical Education.
Compensation:
  • $3000 Stipend.
