Job Summary

Introduction to the Job

As a Customs Specialist at ASML you play a critical role in ensuring compliance with global import and export regulations. Your work helps keep our advanced technology moving across borders supporting ASMLs mission to enable the worlds leading chipmakers to create faster smaller and more energy-efficient microchips. By safeguarding trade compliance you contribute directly to the success of cutting-edge semiconductor technology that powers modern electronics.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role you will manage operational trade compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with global teams to maintain regulatory adherence streamline processes and drive data-driven decision-making.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage import and export filings to ensure compliance with international regulations.
  • Review Customs and export requirements and strengthen internal controls.
  • Prepare and update training materials for import/export compliance.
  • Maintain and improve internal procedures and presentations.
  • Develop and implement new compliance processes and project plans.
  • Conduct audits to verify adherence to trade regulations.
  • Support Duty Drawback processes and global improvement projects.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends improve compliance efficiency and support reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects ensuring timelines scope and quality goals are met.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business supply chain or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Customs broker license preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade compliance or customs operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Experience with data analysis tools; Spotfire experience preferred but not required.
  • Project management experience is a plus.

This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
