Senior Director
Position Overview
The Showcase Operations & Scouting Assistant plays a critical support role in the planning execution and follow-up of Prospect Select showcase events. This position assists with event promotion player management on-site operations technology platforms (FlightScope Blast VALD) scouting logistics and post-event deliverables. The role requires strong attention to detail organization and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
Key Responsibilities
Event Promotion & Pre-Event Operations
  • Assist in the promotion of events through social media email campaigns and other assigned marketing channels
  • Assist in adding players to events (Event Connects and Teams) within Playbook
  • Support inventory logistics related to showcase events
  • Assist with pre-event operational preparation and setup
Technology & Roster Management
  • Manage and assist with:
    • FlightScope rosters
    • Blast rosters
    • VALD rosters
  • Support on-site technology operations for:
    • FlightScope
    • Blast
    • VALD
Event Operations & Scouting Support
  • Assist in overall event operations during showcases
  • Support scouting operations including:
    • Scout notes
    • Roll call sheets
    • Position sheets
  • Serve as Showcase Director when needed or as assigned
Post-Event Deliverables & Data Management
  • Manage post-event deliverables including:
    • Uploading player headshots
    • Uploading performance metrics
    • Uploading ODP videos to player profiles
    • Transferring Blast VALD and scouting notes to player profiles
    • Syncing and uploading FlightScope data
  • Prepare leaderboards for the Scouting Director
Content & Reporting
  • Identify top performers from events
  • Write and submit Top Performers blog content in alignment with Prospect Select standards and voice
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with sports technology platforms and data systems
  • Strong written communication skills for blog and content creation
  • Ability to work long days weekends and travel as required by event schedules
  • Passion for baseball and player development preferred
