Reporting to AVP Capital Development Manager Project Operations and Control is a key member of the Capital Development team. The Manger Project Operations and Controls provides leadership and guidance related to process and procedure improvement policy and standard development and governance addition the Manager Project Operations and Control leads continuous quality improvement within Capital Development portfolio.
- Lead the development of comprehensive and integrated status reporting and deliverable tracking process.
- Implement project management framework processes and templates to support monitoring and reporting of minor and major capital projects
- Create and enhance tools to provide efficient and effective workflow and framework
- Establish decision making process and approval pathway to support project deliverables
- Lead development of briefing notes in partnership with internal and external stakeholders in support of short- and long-term planning initiatives.
- Complete ad hoc reports analysis as required by Senior Leadership
- Communicate and interact with Capital Redevelopment and Osler leadership to facilitate strategic level engagement to achieve capital project objectives effectively.
- Lead multiple stakeholders and project teams toward the development of key deliverables.
- Manages employee relations issues promoting a diverse teamwork environment that interact productively and efficiently.
- Develops implements and communicates performance measures and monitors productivity providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Promotes culture of continuous improvement and facilitates opportunities for professional growth/development.
- Ensure all staff understand and follow established process control and policies; communicate changes as required
Qualifications :
- Undergraduate Degree in Project or Construction Management Business/Commerce Health Administration
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
- 5 years experience in healthcare (with at least 3 years in capital development)
- Completion of a leadership program/training/course
- Demonstrated project control and management skills including development and monitoring of budgets and schedules.
- Sound understanding of Hospital administration structure and governance.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure Ontario and MoH Capital Planning process and reporting requirements.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Project. Excel Word PowerPoint etc
- Highly motivated and a customer focused with a proven ability to manage multiple and competing projects effectively.

Hours: Currently days including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $118716.00
Maximum: $148395.00
Fully Onsite: Roles involved in direct patient care that are needed onsite for each shift.
