Role Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Progressive Care / Intermediate Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient-centered care in an acute care environment. This role focuses on pre-operative and post-operative patients requiring close monitoring cardiac-focused care and timely clinical interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments on admission and throughout each shift
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and evaluate patient response
Perform ordered procedures and document care accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain proficiency with cardiac and medical-surgical medications procedures and equipment
Advocate for patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last year) acute care PCU experience
Consideration given for:
Recent acute care ER RN experience or
3 years of recent acute care Med-Surg experience
Active Florida RN license or compact multistate RN license (must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating)
RN Diploma or Associate Degree (BSN not required)
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire
