As Manager Employee Relations Poland you will be the direct contact person for the P&O managers of Lek S.A. and Sandoz in Poland in all matters relating to collective bargaining law union relationship and employment contracts harmonizing and optimizing P&O regulations and strengthening collaboration within P&O as well as support works council negotiations on local level in Poland.

Job Description

Major accountabilities:

  • Direct contact for the P&O managers in Poland for a wide range of employee relations related issues

  • Trusted contact and negotiating partner for employee representatives in Poland

  • Preparation of labour law issues and derivation of recommendations for action

  • Active collaboration with trade unions to ensure trusted partnership

  • Responsibility for the further development of employment contracts

  • Drafting reviewing and negotiating works agreements for all Sandoz legal entities in Poland

  • Preparation of legal opinions on current labour law issues and development of proposals for implementation at Poland level

  • Poland-wide harmonisation and optimalisation of various Sandoz regulations

  • Personally conduct ER Speak Up investigations

  • Promote positive Employee Relations by effectively participating as local ER Champion in ER Champion Network to support the understanding of local requirements facilitate the sharing of best practices and support local ER investigators through mentoring.

  • Coaches and builds Employee Relations capabilities necessary to make managers successful and build up knowledge for P&O across all sites in Poland

  • Stay current with changing legal landscape; facilitate compliance with relevant labor laws

Key performance indicators:

  • Stakeholder Feedback

  • All ER related activities delivered compliantly including successful negotiations with employee representative bodies

  • Mitigation of legal risks around individual and collective labour law

  • SpeakUp Office KPIs including quality of investigations timeliness feedback on process & outcomes etc.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Masters degree in human resources or Masters degree in Law or comparable


Work Experience & Skills:

  • 5 years related experience ideally in production and commercial organisations.

  • Knowledge of local legal requirements/employment laws

  • Empathy and business mindset required (dealing with sensitive people issues)

  • experience in a matrix organization and strong project management skills.

  • Team player

  • Ability to network with various P&O and management functions domestically and internationally

Languages:

  • Fluent in Polish and English
