Role Description

Saunders Staffing Agency is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Professional Engineer for a full-time on-site role in Jacksonville FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise site management and stakeholder coordination to ensure project success and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Oversee and manage engineering projects ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.
Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and verify that work aligns with approved designs.
Design & Planning: Prepare detailed engineering designs and plans in accordance with client needs and industry standards.
Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local state and federal safety and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders including clients contractors and internal teams.
Technical Problem-Solving: Identify technical issues and implement effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
Process Improvement: Provide expert recommendations to improve project efficiency and overall effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Licensure: Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
Design Expertise: Strong skills in preparing detailed designs and plans.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of safety and regulatory standards within the engineering and construction sectors.
Communication: Excellent coordination and interpersonal communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
Experience: Previous experience in the construction or engineering industry is highly preferred.
