SUMMARY OF ROLE
:The Analytics Practice Leader for North America is responsible for building a data/analytics capability within HUB and developing state-of-the-art proprietary tools & processes to allow us to more effectively analyze risk and consult with clients in making purchasing decisions including: appropriate retentions/ deductibles optimal coverage limits loss projections cash flow etc. The role will include developing plug and play analytics capabilities to be deployed in the field and training licensed drivers in our offices to operate the tools and teaching them the skills to consult with clients. It will also include consulting with clients/prospects on more complex analyses including alternative risk transfer and enterprise risk projects. Ultimately the goal is to integrate analytics into HUBs culture and service offering. To ensure a comprehensive approach in our value proposition and delivery the Analytics Practice Leader will work with the appropriate leadership from all Industry Practices Product Line Practices Alternative Risk Solutions Captives Carrier Management Marketing Complex Risk Leader and the Commercial Lines Leader to ensure we have the appropriate Analytics strategy/offering aligned those respective practices or centers of influence. This role will report to the President Commercial Lines.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with various regional and corporate leaders develop the vision overall strategy and brand for the Analytics Practice.
- Create and oversee goals that will support Organic Growth (OG) for Commercial Lines and strategize with Industry & Product Line Practice Leaders HUB Presidents and HUB regional CL Leaders and CMOs on how to drive the OG within the various geographies and industries.
- Partner with the regional and industry leaders identify resources around the organization and continue to organize them into a unified working group.
- Support our growth objective by training and developing internal team members and recruiting outside talent to strengthen the practice and develop new capabilities.
- Be an active and productive participant in Critical Path and Deal Desk processes.
- Assist HUB account teams and Producers in winning business across the enterprise or assist in the coordination of the right team from across HUB as needed.
- Assist HUB account teams and producers defending threats from other brokers leveraging Analytics and be a resource to problem solve or find other resources in the company.
- Professionally represent HUB in meetings seminars trade shows speaking engagements and networking events.
- Work with HUBs corporate marketing department to develop Thought Leadership through blogs eBooks and other technical papers that highlight HUBs expertise on Analytics issues including the co-development of HUB content (website brochures RFP templates sales sheets and other marketing materials.)
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/BEHAVIORS REQUIRED

- Be able to listen and build consensus around a shared vision with other leaders that considers HUBs broader financial and strategic objectives (and challenges)
- Deep expertise market relationships and strong visibility in the broad scope of the Alternative Risk marketplace
- Highly developed organization and time management skills
- Strong listening written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Public speaking and presentation experience
- Strong degree of self-motivation with a demonstrated ability to lead/motivate others
- Is influential and persuasive with the ability to partner across HUB and work well with other leaders
- Leads by example as both a Servant Leader and technical resource
