We are looking for a proactive IT Intern to support our day-to-day IT operations especially related to equipment lifecycle management and basic technical support. This is a hands-on role that offers great exposure to practical IT work in a professional office environment.
Your responsibilities
As an IT Intern you will support the IT team with tasks including:
Keeping track of IT equipment inventory and maintaining accurate records
Purchasing IT equipment in line with internal guidelines and approved budgets
Preparing welcome IT kits (laptops accessories accounts where applicable) for new employees
Ensuring spare equipment is ready for use and properly wiped after previous users
Managing secure data wiping of old or decommissioned devices
Labeling devices and accessories clearly and consistently
Ensuring all equipment is fully functional before handover to users
Troubleshooting and fixing simple hardware issues (e.g. peripherals connectivity basic laptop issues)
What you bring to the team
You likely have:
Currently studying or recently graduated in IT Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Basic understanding of computer hardware and peripherals
Interest in IT support asset management and hands-on technical work
Organized detail-oriented and able to follow processes and guidelines
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills in English
Familiarity with Windows/macOS environments
Interest in IT security and data handling best practices
