Job Responsibilities
1) Design the overall HR Strategy and Policy for the Company. The Company is currently small with around 30 people in roles. It is expected to touch around 100 people by next 2 years.
The company is migrating from a Start up Culture to a Structured Corporate Culture. The concerned person will need to play a dynamic role to facilitate the transition.
1) Understanding of labour compliance like ESI EPF Gratuity etc. Should be able to interact with the respective Government agencies for compliance if need be.
2) Monitoring the attendance leave policy and Company benefits like Mediclaim.
3) Draft policy to improve discipline and productivity at the same time managing flexibility.
4) Able to conceptualize the HR Software requirement for the Company. Need to develop an IT System to monitor around 100 people in the next 2 years.
5) Conduct a Monthly meeting for different Asst. Managers and Managers to share their progress and achievements.
6) Need to monitor the To Do list of employees on a weekly basis.
7) Recruitment of people for Warehouse Food Processing Solar Warehousing and Marketing in future. Need good connection with recruitment agencies in the State of West Bengal.
8) Facilitate Evaluation of employees for appraisal at the end of the Financial Year with Departmental heads and Directors. Also prepare a matrix how to quantify productivity among employees and incentivise accordingly.
9) Our Big warehouse is coming up in Siliguri. The person should be able to coordinate HR practices remotely from Kolkata and travelling may be necessary once a month.
10) Need an overall understanding of the business to facilitate recruitment HR policies etc.
