The Regional Director of Engineering (RDOE) is a strategic business leader for all units within his/her area of responsibility providing engineering technical consulting expertise and seeks out opportunities for improvement within the Engineering function. The RDOE evaluates risks and works within areas of expertise to provide effective solutions. Travel is required for this position to all hotels within region and/or portfolio.
The Regional Director of Engineering will provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering leader on each property within his/her region. This communication will also be disseminated to the property General Manager and the Regional Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. This person will monitor and support the overall direction for the engineering function to ensure that the regional practices are aligned with the overall corporate direction. The Regional Director of Engineering uses engineering knowledge skills and sources of information to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and to maximize the financial performance for managed units. The RDOE will be responsible for the reduction of any engineering-related rezone properties the support of any renovation of new development and the selection and properties.

Move up and down stairs service ramps and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
