Job Title: MRI Technologist

Position Overview
A leading healthcare organization in the Houston TX area is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is responsible for performing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures to produce detailed three-dimensional images used by radiologists to detect abnormalities support diagnoses and guide patient treatment plans.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Produce accurate high-quality images of tissues organs and body structures
Prepare patients for procedures explaining exams and ensuring comfort and safety
Screen patients for MRI contraindications and ensure compliance with MRI safety guidelines
Operate MRI equipment and associated computer systems
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal imaging results
Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental policies and procedures
Imaging Focus Areas
Breast Imaging and Breast Biopsy
Prostate Imaging
Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging
Endometriosis Imaging
Required Experience & Skills
Prior MRI technologist experience required
Experience with Philips MRI equipment preferred
Experience with client-based imaging systems preferred
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care
Schedule Details
Shift details to be confirmed
Hours per day and days per week may vary based on departmental needs
Working days and shift times to be provided upon assignment
