JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A VIDEO CONTENT SPECIALIST

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Video Content Specialist to help grow awareness and traction for a newly launched digital app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

This role is focused on creating high-impact short-form videos that stand out on TikTok and YouTube Shorts using smart content stacking strategies to scale reach quickly and cost-effectively.

The ideal candidate is a fast and independent content creator with a deep understanding of short-form platforms trends and how to generate strong organic traction.

Responsibilities as a Video Content Specialist would be:

Create and edit engaging short-form vertical videos for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Develop compelling hooks captions pacing and on-screen elements tailored to each platform.
Repurpose core content ideas into multiple formats and variations (content stacking).
Stay updated on trends hashtags video formats and platform best practices.
Produce and deliver video content consistently and quickly to support rapid growth and testing.
Qualifications as a Video Content Specialist:

Proven experience creating content for TikTok and/or YouTube Shorts.
Strong video editing skills using mobile or desktop tools.
In-depth understanding of short-form video algorithms audience engagement and pacing.
Ability to work independently meet quick deadlines and follow minimal direction.
Results-driven with a focus on reach shares and traction.
Nice to Have: Experience using AI tools for video editing scripting or content ideation. Background in startup app marketing or launching digital products.
Experience organically growing social media accounts or viral campaigns.
