Job Summary
Flourish Australia has an exciting role to oversee our Community Business Services in Marrickville!
About the position:
- Ongoing full-time (76 hours/fortnight)
- Working Monday to Friday
- Based on-site in Marrickville
- Attractive salary starting at$110000 per annum plus super and tax-free salary packaging
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing developing and leading day-to-day productionand supports thereby providing leadership in all aspects of the operation of the site.
- Managing thefiscal human and property resourcesof the service within the scope of the position.
- Providing support tothe team toenable personal growthby projecting a positive outlook a sense of belonging and social inclusiveness in the community.
- Utilise good professionalstaff supervisory skillsand effectively utilise staff and resources so people accessing ourservices receive a quality service.
About the Team
The Site Manager will also havedirect responsibility for the management of onsite vocational support and ensuring that employeesare provided with thevocational skills and supportrequired so that they can transition into and maintain meaningful open employment.
You will oversee different teams within the Marrickville site including;
- Warehousing and packaging teams
- Courier services
- Mental Health Services
- Cleaning and ground maintenance
- Digital scanning and document management
- Administration support

About You
To be successful in this role you will have apassion for improving the outcomes for the people of your local community.Youll possess a desire to achieve Flourish Australias vision which will lead you to provide high quality and responsive recovery-oriented servicesthat best supports people with a lived experience of mental health issues to achieve their hopes and dreams.
You willhave a keen eye foridentification of current and future options for innovation and business developmentand expansion. This role would suit someone with a backgroundin Training and Assessment Business Management or Management in Industry (e.g. warehousing manufacturing).

SelectionCriteria
Essential:
- Relevant qualifications for the service offering &/or extensive relevant industry experience.
- A minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity (ideally in the mental health or community sector).
- Experience fostering and sustaining partnerships as well as ability to influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of a mental health issue and how providing a recovery-oriented service is of benefit to people.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and ability to fully utilise the client information management system.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
Desirable:
- A carer role or having a lived experience will be an advantage.
- Relevant qualifications in frontline management.
- Sales and marketing experience.
- A forklift licence (is only required for packaging sites).
