Accounts Payable Administrator

The Accounts Payable Administrator plays a pivotal role within the payables function of the Maple Reinders Group and its affiliated companies. With a dedicated focus on delivering timely and precise job cost reporting maintaining open lines of communication with Project Management personnel.
The Accounts Payable Administrator assumes a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Accurately process and validate invoices by matching them with Purchase Orders (POs) and relevant supporting documentation.
- Initiate and monitor invoice approval workflows via the organisations digital portal ensuring timely authorisation by Division or Project Managers.
- Conduct thorough invoice reviews to confirm accuracy of pricing quantities and services rendered.
- Apply eligible discounts to maximise cost efficiency and savings.
- Respond professionally to Accounts Payable (A/P) phone and email inquiries providing clear and timely information to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations proactively identifying and resolving outstanding items or discrepancies in collaboration with vendors.
- Carry out additional assigned duties with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
Qualifications:
- Possess a post-secondary education in Accounting Finance or Business providing a solid foundation in financial principles and practices.
- Accumulated two years of relevant experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role demonstrating a solid understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office suite and Windows-based computer applications including but not limited to Word Excel and Outlook enabling adequate documentation and communication.
- Ability to use/learn industry-specific software programs such as Timberline.

Salary Range: $50000 - $55000/Year (Depending on expereince)
