Job Summary

Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for the (Student Only) part-time position of Testing Center Assistant. This department provides area businesses and industries the community and local school districts college students and individuals with a broad range of testing services. This position will assist the Testing Center Staff with daily responsibilities while providing great customer service.

Job Duties:

Helping customers and staff with the check-in process.
Greeting candidates
Checking in candidates.
General office duties: data entry copying scanning filing stocking office
supplies maintaining testing rooms and supplies running errands and similar
duties as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours: Up to 20 / week

Minimum Qualifications:

Customer service experience preferred.
Basic Microsoft Suite experience.
Dependable - able to maintain a work schedule.
Good Communication skills.
Organized
Able to work with individuals and groups.
Follows instructions policies and procedures.
Able to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

The Federal Work-Study Program provides funding for part-time employment to qualifying students. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at Gateway and have a GPA of at least 2.0 you may be eligible for FWS.
