PURPOSE/SUMMARY OF JOB: This position is responsible for managing the Testing Center and ensuring that testing programs are consistent with the primary educational mission of the college. Responsible for providing comprehensive testing services to all eligible students as well as the community in general. Trains and monitors testing administrators at all locations. Provides testing services to include placement tests Ability to Benefit High School Equivalence Pearson Praxis instructor make-up exams pre-admission exams standardized tests and others. This position ensures compliance with all institutional governmental industry and regulatory requirements regulations reporting processes and procedures. Additionally this role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the integrity of online testing services.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Education Psychology Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Two years of experience in a customer or student service-oriented industry demonstrating strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational planning and time management skills.
- Must be able to complete the required vendor training/certification for administering standardized tests within sixty (60) days of hire.
- Strong public service orientation.
- Strong technology proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize new software and online platforms.
- Excellent active listening clear verbal and written communication and email etiquette skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and Saturday as necessitated by the position.
- Ability to travel to administer off-campus tests as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters Degree or higher in Adult Education Educational Administration Counseling Testing or related field from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience with standardized testing.
- Teaching training or testing experience in an educational setting.
- Experience with online testing systems and remote proctoring technologies.
- Bilingual Spanish-English.
Anticipated Start Date: February 2026
Salary and Benefits:
$46725 to $50230 based on education skills and experience. Benefits include health life dental and vision insurance LTD & benefit package in accordance with Colorado Community College and Occupational Education System policies. No relocation assistance is provided.
