The Role
You will play a pivotal part in representing clients across a broad spectrum of criminal matters from police station attendance to advocacy in the Magistrates and Crown Courts. This is an opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners and benefit from a varied hands-on caseload.
Key Responsibilities
Attend police stations and provide expert legal advice to clients under investigation
Prepare and conduct cases in the Magistrates Court; advocacy opportunities available
Manage files from initial instruction through to conclusion
Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring the highest standards of service
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and best practice
About You
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with Duty Solicitor status
Minimum 2 years PQE in criminal law within a UK practice
Strong advocacy negotiation and client care skills
Experience preparing cases for court and attending police stations
Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently
Excellent communication and organisational skills
