Youll join a busy family team with a clear focus on legal aid domestic violence matters with scope to support supervision and help shape best practice as the team grows.
The role
As a Family Solicitor youll manage a varied caseload with a strong emphasis on legal aid DV work while contributing to team capability and supervision support.
Key responsibilities
- Running your ownfamily law caseloadwith a focus onlegal aid domestic violence
- Supportingsupervisionand day-to-day guidance within the team (where appropriate)
- Advising clients with empathy clarity and strong technical judgement
- Contributing to team growth and service quality (including business development where aligned)
What our client is looking for
Essential
- 5 years PQE(or equivalent experience)
- Family Law Panel Membership(required to support supervision)
- Strong experience handlinglegal aid family matters particularlydomestic violence
- Confident client-first communication and solid file management
Preferred
- Experience across broader family work alongside legal aid
- Interest in developing a profile/following (not essential but advantageous)
- If youre57 PQE a clear ambition to develop longer-term (including business development) is important
Location and working arrangement
- London
- Our clients preference isoffice-based withup to 2 days per week working from home(max)
