Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) org is looking for Support Engineer to join the Long-Term Forecasting and Planning Team. We are a group that has fun at work while driving incredible customer business and environmental impact. We own highly scalable services that power worldwide customer demand inventory and cube forecasting. Your work will drive inventory and cube plans for millions of products across Amazons global fulfillment network and influence multi-billion-dollar build decisions. This program is building a brand-new forecasting platform that delivers coherent accurate global-scale predictions.

Support engineers troubleshoot debug evaluate and resolve computer-identified alarms perform software deployments and migrations host management and automate routine operational tasks. The position requires a combination of strong troubleshooting technical and communication skills and includes a mix of on call and operational tasks and may involve small-project software development work. Support Engineers also develop tools and automation to achieve human free operations. They use the right tool for the job and modify software in a way that leverages the overall system architecture. About the team
We are the LTPF team under Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT). SCOT is the name of a complex group of systems designed to make the best decisions when it comes to forecasting buying placing and shipping inventory. Functionally these teams work together to drive in-stock drive placement drive inventory removal and manage the customer experience.
- 2 years of software development or 2 years of technical support experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience in Unix
- Experience with AWS networks and operating systems
