Job Summary

RFQ Review Technical Proposal Preparation.
Involve Design Calculations.
Design steering column components and systems using CAD software (e.g. CATIA).
Develop 3D models create technical drawings and ensure designs meet functional and regulatory requirements.
Apply GD&T Tolerance Stack-up Analysis VAVE Benchmarking.
Conduct feasibility studies considering aspects like structural integrity NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness) and durability.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (NPD Mfg Engg Quality Part Development Purchase & Testing) and OEMs to integrate the steering system into vehicle projects seamlessly.
Conduct Design Reviews and work closely with other teams to address manufacturability cost and performance considerations.
Collaborate with testing teams to validate prototype designs
Collaborate with CAE Teams for Stress analysis FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other Performance & Fatigue tests.
Use DFMEA and other risk assessment methods (DRBFM) to identify and mitigate potential design Failures & Risks.
