Pre-Analytical Services Associate Lab Services

We are seeking a Pre-Analytical Services Associate Lab Services to join IQVIAs laboratory business at Valencia CA.

Shift: Wednesday-Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm Saturday-Sunday 10:00am-6:30pm

In this role you will assist with routine activities related to the receipt and processing of clinical specimens ensuring accuracy compliance and timely workflow.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Assist with receipt of consignments and shipments.
• Open shipments and perform quality checks on patient information forms; escalate issues to senior staff.
• Dispose of or recycle kit shipping supplies appropriately.
• Conduct secondary checks to ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging.
• Support and respond to after-hour alarms and other critical functions.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and supply inventory functions.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain organized work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in continuing education activities.

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate reporting procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workflow effectively.
• Other Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting close eye work requirement (computer typing reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers managers and clients.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling specimens and documentation.
• Good organizational and communication skills for team collaboration.
