Role type: Fixed term contract until end 2027

Start date: Early 2026

As a Data & Analytics Apprentice you are an emerging professional embarking on a structured learning journey within both the Analytics and Data Engineering teams. Through rotational placements and involvement in real-world projects you will actively contribute to the delivery of data solutions while developing essential technical and analytical skills.

What Youll Be Doing

As a Data & Analytics Apprentice youll join our Adviser business and will spend time with both our Data Engineering and our Insights teams. Over the course of your apprenticeship youll work on real projects that make a tangible impact for our clients and colleagues.

Youll learn how to:

  • Build dashboards and reports using Power BI.

  • Manage and analyse data in Microsoft Fabric a modern cloud environment.

  • Apply fundamental data engineering concepts like joins filters and aggregations.

  • Explore how AI tools can streamline analytics and improve efficiency.

  • Understand data governance privacy and best practices in data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coding & Modelling: Learn SQL for data extraction and manipulation and apply data modelling concepts in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

  • Data Visualisation: Create dashboards and reports that tell compelling stories.

  • Data Operations: Support data pipelines and automation tasks.

  • Governance: Follow data handling protocols and maintain data quality.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with mentors and team members sharing ideas and progress.
