We are seeking qualified experienced candidates for the position of Assistant Rowing Coach beginning August 2026. The Assistant Coach reports to the Head Coach of Rowing. Responsibilities:Assist in the direction and instruction in the sport of to mentor and motivate student-athletes in the sport of rowing emphasizing the students holistic in the planning organization and direction of all Upper School Rowing of the rules governing the sport of in management of logistics and operations for all regularly with student-athletes and as a resource for the college selection process for Upper School Rowing student-athletes and their in attracting quality student-athletes to Germantown with the Head Coach of Rowing on a frequent basis to review the status of the with all professional guidelines as listed in the GA Coaches and embrace the GA mission as well as uphold the standards established in the GA Staff/Faculty professional development opportunities in the sport of rowing and :Previous participation in rowing at the high school or collegiate 1 year coaching experience (within a school setting preferred)Ability to travel to and from athletic practices between the hours of 3pm-6pm Monday through Friday and to and from regattas on weekend degree; bachelors degree preferredValid drivers license
