The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of projects by leading cross-functional teams managing resources and alignment with organisational goals. This role is crucial in fostering innovation improving operational efficiency and achieving strategic objectives. The Senior Project Manager also has a strong focus on the outcomes that need to be achieved for each project measuring and assessing each project against those outcomes to drive achievement of the intended value for our clients and the organisation.

- Lead and manage projects using Whakarongorau Aotearoas methodology ensuring progress and outcomes are tracked.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and translate business needs into effective system solutions.
- Deliver clear documentation and manage multiple projects with defined lifecycles.
- Support change initiatives and continuous improvement of project processes.
- Guide teams on methodology use and manage external relationships.
- Oversee change management including training communication and follow-up.

Qualifications :
Mōu ake About you
Ōu wheako ōu mātauranga hoki - Qualifications and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Methodology qualifications (PRINCE2 or similar)
- Experience in delivering projects which meet business outcomes with budgeting planning and cost control oversight
- Ideally experience in the health sector particularly implementing projects that seek to achieve clinical outcomes
- Experience in analysing and designing IT solutions
- Experience in call centre solutions CRM solutions telephony
Ōu āheitanga ōu pūkenga hoki - Skills and competence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and decision making abilities with a focus on achieving results
- A commitment and ability to recognise opportunities and support initiatives to increase equity for Māori tangata whai ora
- A commitment to the diverse cultures of our service users and the needs of priority populations in Aotearoa
- A strong awareness understanding and application of Te Tiriti O Waitangi
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams
