Job Summary
What success looks like in this role:
- Applies advanced knowledge of testing principles methodologies and techniques to test and ensure software / platform quality.
- Works with engineering teams to define testing strategies for new and existing applications.
- Develops and executes functional integration and system tests.
- Develops and executes load scalability and performance tests.
- Designs and develops test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications.
- Reviews code for accuracy and quality.
- Takes the lead on difficult defect detection problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Detects problems where standard practice and / or software has failed to meet client requirements.
- Addresses escalated technical defects identified by less experienced team members.
- Leads team members in writing of scripts expected results test results and defect descriptions.
- Assists in driving organizational activities / initiatives.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- BA/BS degree and 6-8 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- NZ Citizen/PR holder would be preferred
