Job Summary

Domestic considerations:
Requirement for overnight travel to RHQ SHQ detached troops briefings and events. Deployment on up to 4 weekends per year and 2-week annual exercise potential PJHQ LNO role on VHR activation.

Position role: Regimental Mentoring Support Officer (FTRS) responsible for delivering an effective inclusive recruiting process to attract recruit and nurture Army Reserve recruits and support whole force recruiting activity.

Responsibilities:
1. Advise the OC and CoC on current recruiting retention enlistment and Basic Training policies and processes.
2. Coordinate and conduct recruiting activity across all 3 locations to meet the targets set out in the Sqn Recruiting and Retention Plan.
3. Lead a team of Recruit Nurturers across all 3 locations to recruit and nurture candidates in line with ARRAT direction and guidance.
4. Process candidates through the journey to attestation keeping tracking systems fully updated and assisting the CoC in the identification of talent.
5. Provide the routine point of contact for the National Recruiting Centre HQ AITC ARRAT RCMOs YODAs ACCs/AFCOs and other recruiting stakeholders.
6. Maintain and update recruiting documentation including the IPRE submit returns maintain RODs from relevant meetings and share best practice.
7. Conduct 1st line assurance of Sqn recruiting processes.
8. Complete mandated training and maintain a log of required competences held across the Sqn.
