Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller Permanent Halesowen Office Based Full Time Salary

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant with a solid background in credit control to join a growing business in a varied and rewarding role. The Company

Seymour John are pleased to be working exclusively with a well-established business in the Halesowen area to recruit an Accounts Assistant with strong credit control experience. This is a key hire to strengthen their finance team and support continued growth.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing credit control including monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely payments
  • Setting up new customer accounts accurately
  • Maintaining and reconciling the sales ledger
  • Posting cash and credit card transactions promptly
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices and assisting with payment runs
  • Supporting weekly payroll processing
  • Completing bank reconciliations and assisting with month-end tasks
  • Contributing to ad-hoc duties and project work as required

Personal Profile

Were looking for a proactive and adaptable individual with proven experience in credit control. You will thrive in a small close-knit team and enjoy supporting across all areas of finance. While the role offers variety with transactional duties such as ledger management payment runs and reconciliations the main focus will be on credit control - taking ownership of customer accounts ensuring timely payments and maintaining excellent client relationships.
