About the Role

The Design Technologies Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Technologies faculty with a primary focus on Design and Emerging Technologies Graphic Design and the Maker Space. This position provides hands-on assistance to staff and students in these areas helping to facilitate creative projects maintain equipment and contribute to an innovative learning environment. While the role is centred on design-related disciplines the Assistant may also provide support across other Technologies subjects including food textiles and IT where appropriate to their skills and training ensuring flexibility and collaboration within the faculty.

Qualifications

  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Certificate IV in Education Support
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
