Sessional Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Location: Central London/East London/Essex
Contract: Locum
Hours: 1 day per week
Our client is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to provide specialist OT support schools for vulnerable students who are struggling in mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to the needs of students.
- Support students with sensory fine motor and functional skills to enhance participation in school activities.
- Liaise with teachers and staff to embed OT strategies within the classroom environment.
- Provide advice and guidance to staff and parents where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children and young people in educational or paediatric settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
