As a Manager II IT Infrastructure with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect server and storage solutions aligned with business and IT strategy.

Lead architecture for compute platforms (physical virtual and cloud-based).

Design enterprise storage solutions including SAN NAS object storage and software-defined storage.

Define standards best practices and reference architecture for server and storage platforms.

Evaluate select and integrate hardware software and cloud services.

Ensure high availability disaster recovery backup and business continuity solutions.

Optimize performance capacity planning and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with network cloud security and application teams.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure and operations teams.

Support major infrastructure initiatives migrations and upgrades.

Participate in vendor management RFPs and technology evaluations.

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in server platforms (x86 blade HCI)

Deep knowledge of storage technologies (SAN NAS DAS Object Storage)

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V KVM)

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)

Knowledge of backup recovery and replication technologies

Familiarity with software-defined storage (Ceph vSAN Nutanix etc.)

Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell Python Ansible)

Strong understanding of performance tuning and capacity management.

Architecture & Design

Experience designing scalable highly available infrastructure.

Knowledge of disaster recovery architectures (RPO/RTO).

Understanding of security principles for infrastructure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architecture.

Knowledge of container platforms (Kubernetes OpenShift)
