Responsibilities:
Seeks out prospective customers and provides proposals for Electric Power Generation equipment.
Responds to current customer requests for Electric Power Generation equipment
Analyzes engineering specifications to quote equipment that will meet the projectrequirements
Analyzes Electric Power Generation sales opportunities in the territory and systematically targets business opportunities
Documents the project and component specifications required by individual customers
Documents sales quotations for customers using standard Ziegler formatting
Supports otherSales Engineers as well as customers by providing technical informationliterature schematics and wiring diagrams
Learns about Catand competitive products in order to offer the best solutions based oncustomer interests and concerns
Quotes andcloses sales transactions within assigned authority parameterscompletingall required sales documentation
Coordinates the activities of support divisions within Ziegler and Caterpillar to manage product field service and product quality issues
Documents quotation win loss and data along with other business activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required
3 years of technical sales experience

Strong mechanical aptitude
Clean driving record
Working knowledge of internal combustion engine installations and drive trains
Analytical skills
Electric Power Electrician Generator or Reciprocating Engine experience desired
Travel:
Up to 25% travel
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Standing walking using hands talking hearing.

The total compensation (base plus incentive) for this position is
$109100.00 to $163600.00Starting wage is dependent on skills experience and education. Along with competitive pay full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
