What youll do:
Interpret rules of origin for trade agreements evaluate origin qualification for following agreements: USMCA USMCA-MA ORIGIN DECLARATION USMCA-LVC USMCA-AALA US-ISRAEL US-AUSTRALIA US-COLOMBIA US-PERU US-KOREA ACE55-MERCOSUR US-CHILE US-OMAN US-BAHRAIN.
Issue certificates of origin and supporting documents to customers ensuring a reduction or elimination of tax payments.
Submit application for certificate of origin to the Ministry of Economy in Mexico (ACE-55).
Provide Internal reports to Mexico Facilities and to business unit for new products.
Proactively support on improvements to minimize or eliminate payment of duties.
What is required:
Bachelors Degree in International Business or in Customs Compliance Business Administration.
2 years (at least) of experience in: Analysis and certifications of origin.
Fluency in English.
Skills: Negotiation Effective communication with related areas: Business unit external customers Production control & internal users. Manage Execution & Drive collaboration.
