Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the quality function across all minerals operations ensuring products and services consistently meet defined quality standards and grade tolerances minimizing returns rework or rejections.
Engage actively with clients to understand expectations improve service delivery and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop maintain and enforce comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while ensuring regular training of staff on compliance and operational standards.
Drive operational efficiency across the value chain from procurement through logistics and export identifying and removing bottlenecks and ensuring smooth execution of process milestones.
Monitor and manage operational costs associated with quality control logistics and storage ensuring alignment with budgets and taking corrective actions when needed.
Maintain accurate reporting of cargo movements quality assessments and delivery performance for management decision-making.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable legal regulatory and statutory requirements maintaining clean audit records during internal and external reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in Quality Management Engineering Logistics Mining or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years experience in quality management within the minerals logistics port operations mining or shipping sectors.
Strong knowledge and practical application of quality frameworks such as ISO 9001 Six Sigma or equivalent systems.
Proven experience in leading large cross-functional teams and managing complex quality and operational systems.
Strong understanding of local and international compliance regulatory standards and audit processes.

Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Process-driven results-oriented mindset with the ability to lead organizational change.
