What you will be doing:
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of projects balancing long-term milestones with short-term Sprint goals.
- Act as the Scrum Master for the team facilitating Daily Stand-ups Sprint Planning Reviews and Retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery.
- Manage client engagements and collaborate closely with the Product Owner to prioritise the backlog and align delivery with business goals.
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers delays or resource constraints to keep the development team productive.
- Keep stakeholders informed via clear reporting project health dashboards and regular updates on timeline adjustments.
- Guide the team through testing phases and advocate for "Definition of Done" to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Continuously refine project management and Agile practices fostering a culture of self-organization and high velocity.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
- A Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM) or a Project Management professional body membership (e.g. PMP or PRINCE2) is highly advantageous.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a Project Management role with at least 2 years specifically acting as a Scrum Master.
- Proven experience within the Finance or Fintech sectors.
- Strong background in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and managing technical project teams.
- Proficiency in Jira or similar tools for tracking both Sprints and high-level project roadmaps.
- A servant-leader approach combined with the commercial awareness to manage client expectations and project constraints.
