SCOPE:
Plan and lead project(s) as part of large multi-ministry/multi-year initiatives involving complex network architecture advanced and innovative telecommunications/video/Video over I/P (VoIP) and audio/visual systems
Manage client relationships/networks as well as partnerships with business areas
Manage project teams and provide guidance on the use of audio visual and information technology in client business planning and business improvement initiatives
Develop project charters and master project plans guide the definition of goals deliverables and scope working with internal clients and stakeholders I and amp;IT specialists business planners to ensure clarity accuracy and acceptance
Identify and assess risks and recommend mitigation measures for approval
Provide leadership to project teams external service providers and contractors
Identify impact of change escalate to project sponsor for decision revise work plans schedule and project budget to implement approved changes
Provide specialized advice and expertise to client groups and for the development of business cases and Treasury Board / Management Board of Cabinet submissions.
Coordinate I and amp;IT procurement to acquire and negotiate goods and services and administer contractual agreements.
