Our client a major player within a large and complex operational industry is seeking an exceptional Talent and Organisational Development Manager to lead high-impact HR initiatives that drive organisational transformation workforce optimisation and people innovation.

This role is ideal for a seasoned Organisational Development strategist who enjoys shaping major organisational projects partnering with executive leadership and delivering work that directly influences business direction.

Duties:
  • Lead strategic HR projects from initiation to completion including HRIS implementations EVP initiatives and workforce planning.
  • Develop and manage project plans budgets timelines and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare high-quality executive and Board reports translating HR data into meaningful insights.
  • Coordinate HR Leadership Team activities including agendas documentation decision tracking and alignment across HR functions.
  • Drive change management and organisational development initiatives to support culture transformation and restructuring.
  • Support digital HR transformation optimising HR systems and using analytics to guide business decisions.
  • Ensure governance and compliance with labour laws BBBEE requirements and industry regulations.
  • Engage and communicate with stakeholders including senior leaders unions consultants and cross-functional teams.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Industrial Psychology Business Administration or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in HR Strategy or Business Leadership is advantageous.
  • Project Management certification will be advantageous

Experience:

  • 5 - 10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a strategic project or programme management role
  • Experience working with Executive and Board-level stakeholders
  • Exposure to large operational environments such as agriculture FMCG or manufacturing is highly beneficial

Skills & Competencies:
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint and Excel expertise; strong HRIS exposure
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Skilled in executive storytelling and data-led presentations.
  • Strong understanding of HR governance and SA labour legislation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influential communication ability
  • Strong project governance organisational and coordination skills
