Job Summary
About the RoleThe Associate Channel Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Channel Manager as the key liaison between customers and the company. Youll collaborate with Marketing Design New Product Development Manufacturing and Sales to develop and execute custom programs for key accounts. From managing product setup and sourcing to supporting strategic business plans youll help drive sales growth product accuracy and overall Youll DoLead customer program development from inception through delivery including product mix packaging and program P&LManage sourcing efforts for custom products across internal and external partnersDevelop deep expertise in assigned customers and related channels of tradeMaintain internal and external documents and databases including item setup sourcing materials and quoting documentsEnsure accuracy of all product information across internal and customer-facing systemsSupport the Channel Manager with forecasting budgeting timelines due dates and communication of sales feedbackAssist with the packaging approval process and ensure accuracy of all packaging formats and detailsContribute to customer presentations alongside the Channel ManagerCollect and analyze customer POS data internal sales data and profitability metrics to support business decisionsSupport development of pricing strategies that maximize customer profitability market share growth and customer satisfactionCoordinate customer mockup and production sample requests ensuring quality and on-time deliveryWhat Were Looking ForExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint Word and ExcelStrong analytical organizational and project management capabilitiesMotivated independent self-starter able to manage multiple prioritiesPositive customer-centric mindset with strong attention to detailBachelors degree preferred3 years of related experienceOrganizational ValuesSafety Teamwork Customer Focus Ownership Initiative CreativityAt Hoffmaster our core values guide how we work and support each other every day.
