About the RoleThe Business Intelligence Architect plays a critical role in designing developing and maintaining a scalable business intelligence environment that enables Hoffmaster to turn data into actionable insights. Youll partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand data needs design data models build ETL processes and deliver intuitive BI solutions. From ensuring data accuracy and governance to optimizing performance and usability youll help align data strategy with Hoffmasters business Youll DoPartner with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and help define the scope of BI initiativesTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and clearly communicate BI strategies to non-technical audiencesDesign develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reportsDesign and build data models data warehouses and data marts to support reporting and analytics needsCreate and maintain ETL processes to extract transform and load data from multiple source systemsDesign and maintain the overall BI architecture including tools technologies and visualization platformsIntegrate data from structured and unstructured sources to deliver a unified view of organizational dataOptimize BI performance cost efficiency data retrieval and report generationImplement data quality standards and governance policies to ensure accuracy consistency and securityEstablish and enforce security controls to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory complianceProvide training and support to end users enabling effective use of self-service BI toolsMaintain clear documentation for BI architecture ETL processes data models and reporting assetsPerform other duties as assigned to support business needsWhat Were Looking ForExperience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau QlikView or similar platformsStrong knowledge of data modeling SQL and database management systemsExperience working with Azure Data Factory Azure DevOps and Microsoft Visual StudioUnderstanding of data governance data quality and compliance standardsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teamsDemonstrated project management and leadership capabilitiesMinimum of a bachelors degree in information systems Computer Science or other related technical discipline.5 years of related experienceOrganizational ValuesSafety Teamwork Customer Focus Ownership Initiative CreativityAt Hoffmaster our core values guide how we work and support each other every day.
