In this role you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions ensuring they receive the best care possible. As a Locum Doctor you will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiology services and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular diseases
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families about cardiovascular health and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Experience in cardiology or relevant medical specialty
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Knowledge of current cardiology practices and technologies
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Tests: Echocardiograms stress tests/ETTs EKGs/ECGs nuclear cardiology etc.
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
